The Mahindra XUV300 is a popular compact SUV that was launched in India in 2019. It is based on the SsangYong Tivoli and is available in sub-4-metre form. The automaker has now revealed the XUV300 EV and it is going to be launched in India in the second half of 2021.

On the outside, the vehicle gets some changes that differentiate it from the regular ICE variants. It gets a new front-end and doesn’t have the same grille as the regular XUV300. The vehicle gets new alloy wheels too. The Mahindra eXUV300 is expected to be powered by a 40 kWh battery and the claimed range is more than 300 kms, but the company hasn’t revealed the specs officially. Inside, the electric vehicle sports a new touchscreen and gear knob.

The Mahindra XUV300 EV is expected to be priced around Rs. 15-16 lakhs (ex-showroom) and it will be a direct rival to the Tata Nexon EV.
